RollCall documentation

Every number, and the reasoning behind it.

How every RollCall number is built — and the research behind it. Each metric on your dashboard has a page here — what it means, how to use it, exactly how it's built, and the 44 independently-verified sources it stands on.

Three things hold across every page:
  • A room is only compared with itself. A venue's night is read against its own history, never ranked against a bigger or smaller room.
  • Measured and estimated are never dressed up as each other. An exact number looks exact; an estimate carries its band. Read why →
  • What we can't see is named, not guessed. "No reading" is a state, never a zero. Read why →

Crowd & occupancy

How busy each room is right now, and how that compares with its own normal — built from live door scans.

Money & sales

What the room earned, cross-referenced with how full it was — built from your POS on completed, settled nights.

Coverage & readiness

What RollCall can and cannot see right now, and why — the honesty layer under every other number.
